I understand that this is probably not the highspeed piece of kit you were hoping to read about, but since I damaged my hearing shooting some years ago I have taken my hearing protection more seriously. These little ear plugs are not the greatest but they have one big advantage over my Peltors - I always have a set with me. I started pinning a set inside of my range hat, but now I just pin a set inside of whatever hat I am wearing. They provide equally good protection from the noise of gunfire and screaming children on airplanes.
