I have been carrying the G2 daily for a about a year. It is inexpensive and has good light output.

Hell In A Handbasket has a post up about taking people to shoot Unseen Shoals and what the risks are. I think there is some exposure, but not as much as James believes. Please go read it.

James writes on a number of topics, but unlike most gun bloggers he is actually an experienced firearms trainer and writes about more than just 2nd amendment issues.

When I saw Breda's "ad", I took it as an effort to assuage women's fear of firearms; nothing more, nothing less.
His warning is not totally unwarranted. We do live in a litigious society. However, in this case, I think that his criticism is a bit unfair.
