Among the Thugs
Bill Buford

This is a documentary about soccer hooligans and gangs in Britain. It is a little dated since sports riots have begun to cross the Atlantic, but it is still a relevant work. There are some excellent portions about mob psychology and just how violent individuals and mobs can get.
David Codrea writes about gun rights, the abuses of government and the police, and gun control issues. I read this blog every day, and it usually has some well-reasoned, on-point commentary.

This is an excellent book that gets inside the minds of the thug, not that I know much about that, being an accountant. I bought it years ago and it still rings true.
A lot of this happened before 9/11 when they brought a lot of the security measures on the airlines. They talk about people hiding in the overhead compartments on the way to football (soccer) matches. I also like the comment that they would start drinking 48 hours before a big match...
I just recently saw Rise of the Footsoldier, which is about this very topic.
