This book documents an experimental Aikido program that was conducted for the Special Forces. The most interesting thing about this book to me is the contrast between Heckler and his students. Hecklers view of physical conflict is full of deep philosophical debates, while his students are men whose job is to bring violence to the enemy. All in all an interesting read, but mostly philosophical.
