If you have an Express and it's working then call it good. What I found most interesting is that most of the "upgrades" are sort-of fit and finish with the exception of a fewer higher reliability parts. Could be that you have an older version of the express? Not going to call you out on anything in specific, but the Remington 870 Express I got does not have an ISS, already had the magazine tube extension installed with no apparent changes to the barrel, and it feels like it locks down when I screw the magazine tube nut back on. Could be that the "Tactical" (whatever that word means any more) variant I have is some kind of bastardized hybrid between the two, but I do not know. Huh.
