The soft-sell for gun control.

This piece couched in soothing tones about how nobody is going to take your sporting guns, how a little paperwork is a minior inconvience and how guns don't make us any safer anyway. Here is the thin edge of the wedge:
"We may well see an attempt in Congress for more restrictive gun purchasing measures. We may see a push to do away with or modify these high-capacity weapons. We don't expect any major attempt that would restrict the buying of rifles and shotguns for hunting purposes."

    Three questions about gun control
    1: There are four reasons that someone would be in favor of gun control. What is your reason?
    Tyrants want to disarm the people to make them fearful and controllable.
    Criminals want to disarm the victims to make it safer for themselves from injury and capture.
    Ignorant want to protect people from accidents not realizing how many are injured or die from accidents as compared to crime, and especially tyranny.
    The unknown to me reason that you will fully explain if none of the three above apply to you.

    2: Where is the line separating when you would fight for the Constitution and the people on one side and against an insurrection of the people against the Constitution and on the other side
    or
    when you would fight for the Constitution and people on one side and against a tyrannical government acting under color of law on the other side?

    3: What would you do if you, as a police officer or soldier, were ordered to disarm honest civilians? I am not talking of thugs but people defending themselves their homes and property and their neighbors. Would you see it as an illegal order and stand up and refuse to obey it or would you agree with it and just obey orders?
